Associate Cultural Strategist
As a third culture kid exposed to a great variety of cultural influences, Tami brings her passion for intercultural marketing and discovery of cultural codes to Collider. Born in Barcelona (Spain), but worldly raised, she lived an average of 5 years in the following countries: Spain, Japan, Malaysia, Korea and USA. Her tendency to mix and merge her birth culture with the adopted cultures, results in a culture of her own with an innate curiosity and deep passion to use System 1 Research and Behavioral Economics to break down cultural codes, uncover consumer insights and craft strategies that resonate with consumers around the globe.
After completing her Business and Marketing degree globe trotting from Spain (European University of Madrid) to USA (Pace University, New York and University of California, Irvine) she worked for DRAFT FCB as a research assistant under the multicultural department. During her degree, she launched a fashion brand start up called Nita Suri Barcelona with her sister, and still oversees all marketing operations for her dear baby which is now present in 6 countries.
