Associate Cultural Strategist
A first-gen American hailing from Massachusetts and a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, Danuta double majored in English and Critical Social Thought, with a senior thesis focusing on L.A. hardcore punk through the lens of culture, gender, race and class. As an Associate Strategist, they bring an emphasis on pop culture, counter-culture, subcultural habits, social media trends and content strategy to the Collider team.
Prior to Collider, Danuta worked on brands like Spirit Airlines, Cargill Turkey, Noodles& Co. and Eurostar as an Associate Content Strategist at Barkley, an independent agency in Kansas City, Missouri. Danuta also helped develop Barkley's diversity and community outreach committee, b*Inclusive.
Danuta is passionate about inclusivity, industry diversity, subcultures, dapper fashion and their next hairstyle. When not plotting how to make client work edgier and culturally relevant, Danuta enjoys going to live music shows, exploring Long Beach, dissecting memes and showing up for social justice.
